The traditional style Venture Prospector excels on wilderness expeditions and whitewater trips, making it popular with enthusiasts and outdoor centres across the globe.
A wide beam, classic symmetrical hull and soft tumblehome mean the Venture Prospector is easy and stable to roll on to edge, whilst the familiar recurved bow and high freeboard keep you dry through features and prevent swamping.
The historic Prospector designs that this model is based upon were true workhorses, and the Venture Prospector shares their ability to maintain supreme edging performance for pleasingly smooth turns on both moving and flat water, even when fully loaded.

- Contoured Carrying Yoke - Fitted balanced, oiled to match the seats and shaped for comfortable shoulder carrying. The yoke also provides rigidity to the boat's shell.
- Durable, Moulded End Decks -Integrated, ergonomically shaped handle for comfortable carrying. The one piece end deck provides protection and strength to the bow and stern.
- Heavy Duty Alloy Seat Hangers -Strong enough to cope with the excited wriggles of generations of new canoeists, and the demands of all shapes and sizes of paddlers. Can be reversed for an angled kneeling seat.
- Oiled Wood Web Seats -Not just an optional upgrade, these durable and attractive seats come as standard on all Venture Canoes.
- Tough Vinyl Gunwales -Scratch resistant and highly resilient to the forces exerted on gunwales.

You may return an item for refund or exchange up to 30 days after receipt, as long as it hasn't been used or damaged, is still in its original packaging and/or has original labels still attached. Please complete our returns form and send this, together with the item, to the address on the form. Please note that unless the item is faulty or we had supplied the wrong item, you are responsible for the cost of return. Refunds will be made using the same method as the original transaction. If you opt for enhanced shipping, that charge is not refundable.
Custom-made or personalised items are not refundable unless they are defective.

Please provide us with your name, address and contact details, when you bought the product from us and what the fault is, together with pictures.

Venture take pride in the design and quality of each and every Venture Canoe & Kayak, and each one is built to take you on a lifetime of adventures that are worry free and memorable for all the right reasons; that's why they offer a Lifetime Warranty* as standard. (* Valid to the original owner against defects in materials or workmanship for the lifetime of the product).
In the rare occurrence that a warranty claim is necessary, they will always do their best to provide a speedy resolution and help you get back on the water with as little effort on your part as possible; all they ask is that prior to using your Venture Canoe or Kayak, you familiarise yourself with their care & maintenance guidelines and adhere to them as far as possible.
If you believe that you have a genuine warranty claim; please contact Canoe and kayak store from which the boat was purchased in the first instance, detailing the nature of the claim, the circumstances in which the fault became evident, and providing supporting evidence including a copy of your proof of purchase and clear photos of the fault as well as of the whole boat.
